valentine's day 2008
nearly every couples and soulmates celebrates Valentine's Day. we know that it's a day of spreading love and exchanging of gifts. But do you people know why do we celebrate this day? Do you know the origin behind it? maybe you can take some time and read it up and i find that its kinda interesting. =)

i spent a "schedule-free" Valentines Day this year. why do i say so? because this time im spared from rushing places to places just to be in time for reservation etc. and i must say i really enjoyed it alot! unlike pass years, it kinda tiring to rush and be in tune with time.
this time, we wondered about freely, roaming in town, places to places and we can even change our mind instantly on our destination. we went to bakerzinn to have our own sweet time first and had tiramisu and soberts. we prevented crowds and also crowded resturants. we just walk about like lost souls pacing thru MS and raffles city to and fro, to and fro for like 3 hours. lol. alas we set our eyes on LJS in MS. dearie asked if what i wanted to eat and i replied anything. God knows he came back with 10 pcs of prawns, 4 pcs of chicken, 4 pcs of fish, a packet of french fries, a serving of nachos cheese, a quater of sweet corn and a 1.5 litre of F&N strawberry soft drink. i tell you, i almost faint and laughed my ass out. how silly can my dearie be. all for 2 servings. great. =) alas, we abandoned the 1.5liter drink and insisted to ta bao the 3 pcs of fish. dearie insisted to abandon them. but i won eventually. =) no good to waste food. hehe. at night we we chance upon the opp-esplanade-night-market we spend nearly 1 good hours listening to people biding for antiques. i must say that host is damn good, at faking, forcing and setting traps. but its her job thou. ha. moved on later in the night market alot of games to play and alot to buy and see. saw keri along the way.
*meet up soon girl!* we had engraved a jade thingy with our names in chinese character on it and it serves as a chop purpose. bought some hair accessories too. too bad the foody stalls closed kinda early. anyway i was full from LJS. =D took lotsa pictures from the CNY display there. roamed a lil while more and proceed to take a cabby. time check was 11.45pm, and by the time we hopped on to the cab was aboout 1 am. i wondered why took us so long too. hehehe.... and passed by the Chingay ground. stunning and beautiful.
*maybe going later* we jus walk n walk n walk aimlessly. thank God it was a windy night.
okies, nuff said pixies... so far of what i have processed. hee.

when i reached home and lied on my bed, am embraced in his arms. and i told him he had created a memory which would last a lifetime down the road and i need no material. he smiled to me from ear to ear.all i can express here is limited in words but i still like to tell him no matter what, i love you heartly. thank you for giving me such a memorable-enjoyable Valentine's day! *huggs*
